Swimming Pool Area

• Pets are not allowed in the pool (no swimming).
• Pets on leash are allowed in the living room near their owner if the dog is well-behaved, calm and friendly.
• Please be a good guest and clean up after your pet.

On the Beach

• Pets are allowed in front of the restaurant bar on a leash at all times.
• Pets are allowed under owner control on leash at all times, next to the Beach bar. Pets are NOT allowed in the beach club at the palapa, lounge chairs or on the beach.
• Beach certification is done by the Municipal Government, and the Ecology Department makes daily rounds of surveillance. Avoid fines.
• The pet must be kept on a leash at all times when on hotel property, unless it is in the guest's room.
• Keep our hotel clean and take care of your pet. Use eco-friendly bags to pick up your pet's feces.

Rules and Instructions

Pets are welcome at Hotel Catalina Beach Resort, as long as the following instructions and recommendations are followed:

• Pets will be accepted with prior notice and confirmation from the hotel.
• For hygienic measures, pets are not allowed inside the pool. It is exclusively for guests.
• Playa la Ropa is certified with a BLUE FLAG. A Clean and Safe Beach, therefore, pets are not allowed in the palapas and lounge chairs of our beach club, nor on the beach or swimming in the sea. Municipal Ecology and Health inspectors make continuous visits and those who disobey this order will be fined up to $5,200 pesos.
• Maximum occupancy per room is two pets. Pets must not exceed 25 kg (55 lbs.) in weight and must not pose any danger or risk to guests or hotel employees.
• Pets are not allowed to lie on the beds or climb on the hotel's sofa furniture as it represents a source of allergies and possible contagion for future guests.
• It is forbidden to use common hotel towels to dry or clean dogs.
• Pets must not be left alone in the room. Pets must be under the guest's control at all times.
• Guests must bring beds, towels, blankets for each of their pets. The owner will be responsible for paying for damage to furniture, linens, towels and/or deep cleaning or any excessive mess and aggression to other guests.
• Guests are responsible for immediately cleaning up after their pets in and around the hotel.
• The daily rate per dog is $35 USD. Does not apply to guests traveling with guide or service dogs.
• Upon check-in, room cleaning schedule must be determined for safety reasons.
• Hotel Catalina reserves the right of admission.
